LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apace Systems Corporation®, a leading media production workflow solution provider, announces availability of the Apace Global 2.0 platform to extend and streamline distributed video production workflows with media storage pools which can be on premise, in the cloud, or a combination of both. Packaged as a turnkey production dataflow solution, Apace Global 2.0 offers automated import, access, search & find, edit, transport, collaborate and archive media data for production workgroups worldwide. Users of the Adobe® Creative Cloud® video tools, including the Adobe Team Projects collaborative editing tools (in beta) in Adobe Premiere® Pro CC, Adobe After Effects® CC, and Adobe Media Encoder CC, can work with any global storage pool managed by the Apace Global platform. Paired with Apace's own web-based frame-accurate video editing tool, users have an easy way to access, transport, and make simple edits to source material, for example to prepare media for post-production.

The new features offer a simpler workflow, tighter integration with the Adobe video tools, and simplified remote and multi-site management. Additionally, Global 2.0 allows for entire Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects projects to be imported and cataloged by Apace postMAM MAM/PAM media data, project and workflow management. Global access for raw video data can be further expedited with accelerated transport for an improved remote production experience.

The turnkey solution has been well received in the marketplace with customers like Home Shopping Network (HSN) and Sag-Aftra Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.

Apace media gateway manages Apace's own tiered storage HSM as well as third-party storage from partners such as Quantum StorNext (NYSE:QTM).

"Video is the new language of communication. Our platform supports video production from any locations, anytime, and on any device, whether your media are stored on premises or in the cloud. The solution greatly reduces production time to market," said Dr. Lee Hu, President/CTO of Apace Systems Corporation.
